When it comes to the remapping side of the Golf R tuning world, there are different stages you can take the vehicle. What stage you take it to is completely up to you, some customers like to stick with a Stage 1 package, others will move up the stages 1 by 1 and others will jump straight to a stage 3 package to get the greatest power possible.

When purchasing any Golf R remap software or tuning package, you will have the option to purchase with a dyno tune or a home tuning tool. When selecting a dyno tune, place your order online before getting in touch with the office to find a booking date that suits you. When selecting a home tune, we will dispatch to you the VUDU Performance tuning tool (usually dispatched on the next working day), you will receive the tool, along with instructions on how to obtain the remap software.

Please note that we highly recommend using Tesco 99 or Shell V-power to sustain the high-performance figures that your vehicle can perform. We can develop remap software capable of running 95 or 98 RON fuel, but you will not see the figures we quote below.

If your Golf R is a DSG model, it's also highly recommended that you purchase the DSG software update from the drop-down menu.

Golf R Remap Stage 1

A Golf R Stage 1 remap is designed to run on a completely stock model, this means you only have to pay for the remap ECU software in order to obtain the performance figures we have on offer. To those Golf R owners looking to take the first steps in the tuning world, this stage 1 software flash is a great option as you dip your toes into the world of performance.

Although no further modifications are required for a stage 1 remap. To get the highest quality results out of the performance software we do recommend fitting some breathing modifications such as a Racingline R600 Induction Kit, Forge Motorsport Intake Hose, and Forge Motorsport Muffler Delete. You will see an extra 10-20bhp with the additional breathing modifications added.

Golf R Remap Stage 2

We are proud to bring this VUDU Performance Golf R stage 2 tuning package to the tuning market. We have spent countless hours of our time going through the development and testing stage using our in-house research and development dyno for accurate, reliable, and safe figures.

To those Golf R owners looking to get the maximum power output from the stock turbo, then a full Golf R stage 2 package is required in order to run the higher-powered remap software.
