The VUDU Performance Stage 2 Tuning package has been specially designed to offer a huge leap in performance, making the jump from a completely standard car to a fully modified stage 2 animal! We have crafted this to deliver a healthy increase in power over our MINI Cooper S Remap Stage 1.

This package will comfortably see your car reaching around 280-290BHP, with a hefty jump in torque that will keep you pinned to your seat. We have hand-selected each bit of hardware in this package, selecting only the highest quality products, ensuring a perfect pairing of excellent software and brilliant hardware.

Please note: figures as on all ECU remaps will differ due to the hardware that is already fitted to the car. This means that some VW Polo models will reach higher figures than others due to additional support modifications fitted.

VUDU INTERCOOLER UPGRADE

For maintaining change temperatures there is no better option on the market than the VUDU Performance MINI Cooper S Intercooler. As the power is turned up with the Stage 2 ECU software both the charge temperatures and volume of boost is increased. The stock intercooler is only designed to handle the standard power and quickly becomes overwhelmed by the increase in power, becoming heat-soaked and rendered useless.

The VUDU Intercooler has a 50% frontal surface area increase, perfect for handling the escalated boost volume. The intercooler features a tube & fin design, more effectively cooling the boost, improving the efficiency of power from the engine.

COBRA SPORT DOWNPIPE

In order to reach our quoted stage 2 numbers, it is essential to remove the restrictive stock catalyst and replace it with a high-flow sports cat or a completely unrestrictive decat downpipe. The decat downpipe is designed for motorsport use only and will make your vehicle illegal for road use. However, the sports cat is designed as a road-legal option, increasing the airflow compared to the standard catalyst allowing your engine to work to the expected power.

RAMAIR INDUCTION KIT

The RAMAIR Induction kit for the MINI Cooper F56 models is an optional extra in this package. We have found that the first upgrade people tend to make on their vehicles is the intake system.

The RAMAIR induction kit is our top pick for its increase in performance, induction noise, and engine bay aesthetics. The Stage 2 software alters the ECU to demand more fuel and more air to be injected into the cylinders. The standard airbox is too restrictive to provide the sufficient volume of air required to reach stage 2. The RAMAIR intake features an open intake, which has an air filter with a much large surface area which drastically increases the flow of air.

VUDU TUNING TOOL

The VUDU "Home Flash" Tuning Tool allows you to remap the MINI Cooper S from home via the OBD using a USB cable into the programmer. The programmer is specifically allocated to the vehicle until flashed back to stock where it can then be sold on. The tool also allows the vehicle to be flashed back to standard if required and what's better is all this plus 5 tuning files can be stored on the tool. No emailing back and forth like conventional systems.
